The Village Ballroom is a Woodlawn community cornerstone.

A historic venue for gatherings large and small, The Village Ballroom pairs antique elegance with modern amenities, a dedicated staff, and in-house food and beverage from LaVerne’s—your favorite neighborhood joint.  We welcome all expressions of love and celebration and are intent on cultivating partnerships with our neighborhood nonprofits, arts organizations, and mutual-aid groups.

A turn-of-the-century (1909) masterpiece, The Village Ballroom is available for rental on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We reserve Thursday evenings for non-profit and community events, offered at a discounted rate.

Village Ballroom guests gain access to LaVerne’s world-famous bar program and world-class bar staff (catering coming in 2026).
